Changing habits is one of the most difficult things to do. You see willpower will only get you so far. That’s why for most people new years resolutions don’t work. The trick is to work on a few levels.

-The first level is to clean up what we hold inside of ourselves, the thins wwhich caused our coping skills to form in the first place.

-The second is to create confidence in the new coping skill, for both the conscious and the unconscious mind

-The Third is to make sure we use, use it, use it so that our unconscious won’t be able to create more situations to use the old coping skill. We will eradicate the trigger before it can trigger us :).
